A Web3 passion project built from scratch. A storytelling community, a metaverse expansion, a comic series and $1.5M+ in trading volume before the bear market took it like it took everything else.
The Project
Tri3es wasn't a typical NFT drop. It was a lore-first community where every tribal mask found its bearer through story. Eight sub-tribes. Mysterious deities. A mythology built to make holders feel like they'd discovered something, not bought something.
The writing was the product. World-building, character lore, community narrative — all of it written to make the universe feel real enough to live in.
TRI3ES METAVERSE SNEAK PEEK
The Expansion
After a year and a half, we launched the generative collection and took the story into The Sandbox metaverse. A 3x3 plot. A tribal campground built as the first proof of concept. A comic series issued alongside the launch — Chapter 1 of Wagmi Warriors, co-written with the community. And an attempted merch!
Two years. $1.5M+ traded. Ended when the bear market ended everything.
My Role
Co-founder alongside my art director partner from Wunderman Thompson Istanbul. The concept, the lore, the marketing, the copy, the community voice — I did it. The world we built together.
